eskimo bliss recordings

eskimo bliss recordings is a new offshoot of eskimo kiss records, an indie label based in Atlanta, GA. eskimo bliss was created to provide an outlet for releases on a more DIY scale, such as limited edition short-run CDRs, cassettes (yes, cassettes!) and vinyl, basically releases on a smaller scale than eskimo kiss but that are no doubt deserving of new listeners.

    Dear Sir/Madam,
We are seeking song submissions from independent labels and artists for Eos Music, a new background music service for businesses. We are a sister company to Applied Media Technologies Corporation/AMTC Business Music Corporation, which has been partnered for five years with Sirius XM Satellite Radio, representing Sirius XM for businesses wanting to use satellite radio as business background music. We have created Eos as a new alternative to our principal competitor Muzak.

We are looking for songs in a variety of genres. We present an opportunity for you to receive a recurring stream of license fees, and, perhaps more importantly, to get exposure for your music in tens of thousands of business establishments (restaurants, hotels, retail stores, etc.) worldwide. A few requirements:

    1. You must be able to license the FULL copyright to a song (i.e.; both the master rights to the sound recording AND the performance and mechanical rights for the underlying composition). In general this means the songs must be YOURS (no covers). Our agreement is NONEXCLUSIVE, so you can do whatever else you want to do with your music.

    2. Since we are a business music service, all songs must be “clean”. Any bad language must be “radio edited”. If you don’t have the ability to do this, we can take care of it (no charge to you). Our standards for “clean” are much tighter than broadcast radio. In addition to bad language, we have to watch for “potentially offensive” subject matter like sex, violence, bigotry, etc. For example, we couldn’t play Bob Seger’s “Horizontal Bop”.

    3. Recording quality needs to be decent. Our service is played as background music in restaurants, stores, etc. and is delivered at 64k, so we don’t need perfection, but we can’t have background noises, crowd sounds, a one-track recording of a 5-member band, etc.

Please contact us at or call 1-800-741-2682 x119 if you are interested, or have any questions.
